Latest: A returning signed-in home shows level, sats, rank, and buttons from this device as soon as the page paints. An authenticator account stays hidden until that check finishes.

The privacy policy and terms now explain referral tracking, verified-referral badge tiers, two-factor authentication, the profile saved on this device, account deletion, App Check, Lightning sats, what Nacho sends to the AI, Timechain TV and Bitcoin Beats, share cards and referral links, Satoshi's Favor, peers, keys and ciphers, the public leaderboard, and guest accounts. Rewards are discretionary and are not guaranteed.

Nacho can summarize Bitcoin books and point to a legal place to read or buy them, and the Books channel no longer links pirated PDFs.

A returning signed-in player sees their home as soon as the page paints. The name, picture, level, and XP saved on this device are display-only until sign-in is confirmed, and they are cleared on sign-out, account deletion, or a different account.

The raid boss shows HP remaining, the same remaining over max HP as the raid screen.

Timechain TV: 29 new full-length documentaries on the History & Documentaries channel.

Scholar and Protocol Expert exams keep the answer key on the server, and a passing certificate shows a real verification link.

Missing XP has been awarded to affected users.

A quest waits while you write a comment or question. Not now brings you back to that conversation with your words, and the quest is still there later.

A share post now carries one link, your referral link, and the tagline no longer repeats the site name.

When you hit a big milestone, a share card lets friends open Bitcoin Quest from your link. Finishing the day's quests shows a small card, and a streak button lets you share your streak.

Fixed: the Invite button and Invites tile on the homepage open your invite card again.

Publishing an article awards 30 XP, once per article, up to 2 a day.

Settings → Sats now lists the XP you can actually earn, including the daily cap.

Badge tooltips are back in GGs chat, so each badge name in a single or grouped post opens the icon, name, description, and how to earn it.

Inventory explains how sending keys works. Add Peer is on a profile opened from Global Chat or the leaderboard, and one send can include up to 3 keys per peer each day.

Passing the Bitcoin Scholar or Protocol Expert certification pays 2,100 XP outside the daily cap, and the Learn tab opens Quests for lessons, trails, daily quests, and both certifications.

A miner's public name is what Satoshi's Favor saves, and a player with no name shows as Anon.

Opening gifts is faster, every button responds right away, and your prize shows the moment a gift opens.

Sidebar topic names are easier to read, the extra Stablecoins and Consensus buttons are gone, and the number emoji on Mining, Solved Technical Problems, and Web5 display correctly.

The Invite button now stays on the home screen as a small pill, so you can always invite a friend.

Trivia and poll community totals now update the moment you answer and stay live while the results are open.

The daily XP bar now labels the full, half and quarter rate sections underneath so it is clear how much XP each part pays.

On a computer, Browse topics opens a full-screen browser of every topic, grouped like the sidebar, with live title search and the same completed, locked, and new marks.

A More tools button beside chat opens AI Tools, Metrics, and Leaderboard, and those three apps are in the desktop Explore Apps grid too.

Nacho now announces in global chat when Satoshi's Favor goes live, every badge you earn shows in GGs chat, and GGs and global chat now appear in our Telegram group.

Usernames can no longer contain spaces, so an existing name with a space is ready to become an underscore name, and that account gets one free change in Settings.

The home page is simpler, with your sats, invites and withdraw button right at the top, and the terms screen now works on every phone.

Global chat messages that tag a player with a space in their name now show in full, and that player now gets the mention notification.

Satoshi's Favor now explains that unclaimed points come from players without a faction, and shows them a button to pick one.

You can delete your account from Settings → Account after confirming your username, and you can change the email on an email sign-in.

Topic conversation links open the paragraph they started from, highlight it, and leave the thread ready to reply.

The share card says Let me teach you about Bitcoin, and the daily earn line and the sats stat both show 200.

Key and cipher help now says that when an accepted peer opens a matching cipher with a key you sent, you both get the same prize and you see a reveal of what you won.

Guests and Lightning-only accounts can link an email or Google from Sign-in methods, and sign-out warns them first.

Badges you already earned appear once, and one toast shows them.

Timechain TV Music drops off-topic tracks, moves interviews and events onto the stations they belong on, and adds freedom and Bitcoin songs.

If your username was cleared, pick a new one from the prompt, and Satoshi's Favor shows your public name instead of Anonymous.

Flex XP syncs on tap again, and Say hi shows a green dot after you say hi.

Nacho answers live Bitcoin questions with the number, the source, and the time, plus topic links and follow-up questions.

On a phone, the chat, Nacho, stats, and trophy buttons sit above the bottom navigation with space from the screen edge, and Nacho's speech bubble sits fully above that row.

New badges cover gifts, keys, ciphers, Nook, raffles, and setup.

Satoshi's Favor shows how many points are left until the next hashing window, and the scroll buttons sit clear of the quest cards, the button row, and the bottom navigation.

Topic conversations earn XP, a new one is also posted on Pleb Talk, and replies stay mirrored.

Topic pages include a Start a conversation button between the paragraphs, and each discussion post shows its date and time.

Google sign-in now works when you already have an account and were browsing as a guest.

Google sign-in stays on this page and works on Android with the app installed.

The TCTV 0/10 minute timer now counts up live while you watch, and shows Done ✓ at 10.

Daily XP is full through 500, half through 900, then a quarter until 1,000. Each tier rounds down. Extra XP is not saved.

The minimized Invite pill sits clear of the Bitcoin Quest title, and the Quest pill sits clear of the header buttons, the Invite pill, and the buttons along the bottom.

Scholar and Protocol Expert certificates, and the 2,100 exam XP, are issued only from a server-recorded passing exam. Clearing profile flags cannot grant them again.

The minimized Invite pill sits on the right edge, midway down the screen, clear of the header, the ticker, and the buttons along the bottom.

The homepage topics ring counts the channels you have opened, and the archive lists 145 topics.

Quizzes and trivia: Quiz and trivia rewards are now checked by the server, and Part 2 quizzes pay out correctly again.

Badges are checked on the server. Every badge you earn adds one Satoshi's Favor point.

Withdrawals now work with Wallet of Satoshi, Blink, ZBD, Speed and more, and you can set a fresh Lightning Address once if yours wasn’t working. The Today card still says Say hi! after you’ve said hi, Satoshi's Favor glows while it is active, and Flex counts as done after 5 in a day. Unclaimed faction points show again, and choosing a faction is permanent. Your own all-time Satoshi's Favor total shows on that panel, including points still unclaimed.

Nacho answers from a large vetted Bitcoin knowledge base, with follow-ups he can answer and a steer back to Bitcoin.

Badge XP now follows how long a badge takes to earn, from 10 up to 2,000. Cosmetic badges show 0.

You can remember this device for 30 days after an authenticator code. Changing your Lightning Address, turning off 2FA, new recovery codes, and deleting the account still ask for a fresh code.

The homepage opens on a Today card with Satoshi's Favor, the daily checklist, and More quests. The Quest Hub popup is retired. Every quest still opens from the card.

New posts from the Discord education channels, including charts and memes.

Push notifications now work, with per-category controls in Settings. They stay off until you turn them on. Devices that were already registered stay on unless you had turned them off.

Quote of the Day now rotates through a much larger set of sourced quotes, a different one each day, with a link to where each line came from.

Topic discussions: Signed-in learners can comment and ask questions on each topic. Nacho answers questions in the thread, and Global Chat gets a link to the new post.

Beats now hides strong language in titles by default, with a switch to show it.

Moderated Beats tracks are now hidden everywhere.

Importing a Beats track can never un-hide a moderated one.

You can turn on an authenticator app or phone verification, and if you lose the device you can use a one-time recovery code to get back in.

Faster welcome tour. The server pays the first quest. A new login keeps the guest account.

PvP lobby alerts. When someone is waiting, signed-in players can join from a popup. Match scoring and rewards are settled on the server. Lobby push is off unless you opt in.

Deleting your account now removes your data on our servers, including your sign-in.

Invite friends: share your link from the home page. When they reach Maxi, you both get 50 orange tickets.

Double XP starts when you buy it, and buying again adds another hour. It doubles daily activity XP only.

I sent the tip: on a tip day, the tipping challenge XP is awarded only after the server checks the recipient’s Lightning address domain and the payment hash.

Nacho now follows you on every page. Drag him anywhere and he remembers the spot, or tap – to tuck him into the 🦌 button.

New daily: watch 10 minutes of Timechain TV for 100 XP and 1 orange ticket.

Orange Tickets for real actions are granted by the server again. Raid tickets stop at 10 a day.

Replying to someone in Global Chat can now earn you bonus XP.

Nacho fixes: Cleaner replies when you need support, fixed small typos, the Nacho flying animation works again, Ciphers opens reliably from links, and search finds results right away (even with a trailing space) without buttons covering it.

Nacho shoutouts now tag you once instead of twice.

Marketplace fixed: you can post, edit, remove and save listings again.

Ciphers and keys: Locked ciphers now show clearly in your inventory and Account settings. To find out if someone has the key to yours, ask in Chat.

Send keys to peers: Each peer now has a clearly labeled "Send keys" button.

Gifts: Opening gifts now comes with new sounds and animations.

Lightning payouts: Sats now go straight to your lightning address.

Inventory: You can now rearrange the items in your inventory.

Smarter Nacho: Nacho knows every part of the app now. Ask where something is and he'll link you to it. He's also better at Bitcoin questions and everyday chat.

Better search: The home page search now finds every feature and takes you right to it.

Faucet: We've made changes to keep the faucet fair for everyone.

6 Bitcoin-themed partnership levels. As you and a peer exchange gifts, your partnership grows. Each level has a Lightning Network-inspired name and unlocks a big XP bonus for both of you:

Live level-up popup. The moment you and a peer reach a new level, both of you get a full-screen celebration card — with the level name, your partner's username, a flavour description, the XP reward, and a progress indicator across all 6 levels. Auto-dismisses after 12 seconds.

Peer level badge in notifications. Partnership level-ups appear in your notification feed with a ⚡ icon so you can catch up if you missed the popup.

All partnership data — levels, XP awards, gift counts — is written exclusively by server-side Cloud Functions. Clients can read their own partnership data but can never write it. Fully protected against replay and self-award attacks.

Send gifts to your peers. Earn gift boxes from daily spins and streaks, then send them to any peer. They open the gift and reveal Orange Tickets inside. Sending a gift earns the sender +25 XP instantly.

One-pending-per-pair rule. You can only have one open gift waiting for a given peer at a time. They need to open it before you can send another — keeps things intentional.

Gift notification with a tap-to-open button delivered directly to the recipient.

Gift opens are rate-limited to 21/day. Ticket counts are stored server-side and revealed only at open time — the client never knows the value before opening.

Phone 2FA now works on Safari & iOS. Apple's ITP (Intelligent Tracking Prevention) was silently blocking the reCAPTCHA iframe used for SMS verification. Fixed with multiple targeted patches: same-origin authDomain proxy, visible reCAPTCHA on tap, and App Check disabled to eliminate Enterprise 401 errors. All sign-in methods now complete 2FA on Safari without hanging.

Double 2FA overlay prevented — a race condition caused the SMS challenge modal to appear twice on some mobile redirects. Guard added so it only fires once.

After 2FA success, the sign-in modal now closes and the user lands on home instead of seeing a stale form.

"Trouble signing in?" link added to sign-in screen. Can't find your link? Tap it, enter your email, get a fresh one. No password needed — never was. The Bitcoin-native answer to "forgot password."

Sign-in button copy updated from "Send Magic Link" → "Send Sign-In Link" for clarity. Supporting text updated throughout to make the passwordless flow obvious to new users.

The app is faster and more responsive. Navigating around the app feels snappier — things load quicker and switching between sections no longer makes you wait.

Timechain TV channel switching is now instant. Flipping between channels used to make you sit through a reload every time. Now it's immediate — tap a channel, video plays.

Pleb Shop is back. The merchant page was showing a blank screen for some users. Fixed.

Several storefronts and players weren't loading. Wavlake, LNbeats, Twitch streams, Plebeian Market, Scarce City, Proof of Ink, and Conduit Market were all silently broken. All fixed.

This type of breakage won't sneak through again. We added an automated check that catches broken embeds before any update ships to you.

PVP is fixed! Jump in the lobby and battle another Scholar at Bitcoin Trivia. First one to prove they know more sats than the other wins. 🏆

Phone 2FA is live. Users can now enroll a phone number under Settings → Security. Firebase sends a real SMS verification code — enter it to enable two-factor auth on your account. Supported on all sign-in methods (email, Google, Twitter, GitHub, Facebook). Accounts with phone 2FA get a challenge prompt automatically on every sign-in.

Authenticator app 2FA is live. Scan the QR code in Settings → Security with Google Authenticator, Authy, or any TOTP app. Disable any time by entering your current 6-digit code. TOTP is fully server-side — secrets never leave Firebase Cloud Functions.

TOTP Cloud Functions were deployed as 2nd Gen, which the Firebase compat SDK (v9) doesn't pass auth tokens to — every call returned functions/unauthenticated. Redeployed as 1st Gen. Also fixed a key mismatch where the frontend expected result.data.qrUrl but the function returned result.data.qr.

Damage rate displayed on boss card. Every boss now shows exactly how much damage your actions deal — e.g. "⚔️ 1 quiz completed = 5 dmg" — so you always know the most effective way to contribute.

Boss preloader. The active raid boss is now silently loaded on sign-in, before you ever open the Raid tab. Previously, poll voters and other users who never visited the Raid tab had their contributions silently dropped. Fixed.

More damage metrics. Bosses can now use any of 16 action types to deal damage: quiz completions, flashcard sets, Timechain TV watch time, Bitcoin Beats listen time, poll votes, forum posts, trivia correct answers, topic reads, new topics visited, badges earned, 7-day streaks, Lightning tips sent, chat messages, and total XP earned.

XP-based bosses now accumulate damage in a 100 XP buffer before firing a contribution call. Prevents fractional damage values and reduces Firestore writes during rapid XP gains.

Lightning Network capacity showed NaN — caused by calling fmtNum() on a value already converted to a formatted string. Fixed the calculation chain; capacity now shows correctly (e.g. "5,342 BTC").

Dashboard cache bumped to v2 — clears stale null values that were persisting from a prior bad fetch and showing blank tiles on return visits.

Indicator count corrected to 32 — the count previously excluded indicators with no flash logic, making the displayed total inconsistent.

Live candlestick chart — 5-minute OHLCV, 20 bars, on the Bitcoin Network dashboard. Last candle updates every second with live trade price.

Real-time price WebSocket — Coinbase Exchange aggTrade stream fires on every individual trade (multiple times/second). Price tile, candle, and 24h High/Low all update live.

Dashboard API proxied through Cloudflare Worker. 1,000 users opening the dashboard simultaneously = 1 upstream API call, not 1,000. All data (price, hashrate, fees, mempool, candles) fetched server-side and edge-cached for 90 seconds. Rate limiting from CoinGecko, Binance, and other external APIs is eliminated entirely.

Dashboard crashed on second open — halvingEta was stored as a Date object but JSON-serialized to a string in localStorage. Calling .toLocaleDateString() on a string threw, breaking the entire render for returning users.

Supply, Market Cap, ATH, and ATH drawdown no longer show — — CoinGecko rate-limits Cloudflare IPs. Supply now computed directly from block height (exact formula). Market cap derived from price × supply. ATH uses a hardcoded fallback (08,135, Jan 2025) if CoinGecko fails.

4 Top Indicators (Fear & Greed, ATH Drawdown, NVT Ratio, BTC Dominance) were silently skipped when their data wasn't available on first load — all now always render with "Loading..." placeholders. Indicator count is stable at 31.

Candlestick chart axis labels increased to 12px — previous sizes (8.5px Y-axis, 7.5px X-axis) were unreadable on most screens.

Timechain Calendar iframe restored — timechaincalendar.com was dropped from frame-src when the SEO router CSP was rewritten.

Trivia vote totals update immediately after answering. Previously showed "1 answer today" (just your own vote) until you switched tabs and came back. Now chains a real Firestore read after the write and patches the DOM directly.

Poll vote results show correct community counts instantly after voting. Was using get({ source: 'server' }) which raced against the just-committed transaction. Removed the server-source override — Firestore's local cache already had the committed data.

Chat & Satoshi's Favor now load instantly for returning users. Previously these loaded last — buried in batch 7 of a staggered queue that didn’t even start for up to 5 seconds. Now: if you’ve logged in before, both scripts inject the moment the page loads, before anything else. Cold-start wait also reduced from 5s → 3s for everyone.

Difficulty lowered to 20,000 — odds now 1:5,000 (~0.02% per hash). Easier to find a block. 🎰

Difficulty History table: frozen hashes (16,200) and luck (61.7%) for the 2026-08-20 era — previously showed "--" after the era ended since live data no longer loads for past rows.

Gold market cap updated to 222,600 tonnes — sourced from World Gold Council Q2 2026 data.

SatoABC Bitcoin wallet safety guide added to the Self-Custody learning channel.

Poll vote count now updates immediately after voting — previously showed "1 answered today" until you switched tabs and came back. Fixed by forcing a server-side Firestore read instead of hitting the local cache.

XP notification now reflects the actual amount awarded by Cloudflare (post daily cap), not the eager pre-cap estimate. No more misleading +XP toasts.

Nacho's body color restored to his signature brown (#d4956a) — briefly went off-model, now correct.

Patch notes link added to homepage footer — now permanently accessible from the main app.

Instant login — returning users now render from a local profile cache in under 100ms. Chat, leaderboard, and all user features are available immediately without waiting for Firestore.

Message editing — tap ✏️ on any of your messages to edit it. Posts show (edited) label. Each message allows up to 2 edits.

Bulk raffle entries — use the quantity input to buy multiple entries at once. Enter 10 to spend 100 🎟️ and get 10 chances in one click.

CLCT Auctions tab — Bitcoin collectibles & auctions shop added between Conduit Market and Scarce City. Opens at clctibles.com.
